Program Options

Non-Degree option

This pathway is an option for applicants that will have earned a Master’s Degree by the start of the supervised practice experiences.

Applicants who apply to the non-degree option must provide transcripts from a completed or currently enrolled master’s degree program. The graduate degree must be completed by the summer before the start of the dietetic internship program. More information about our DI application process can be found here.

MS/DI Option

After January 1, 2024, all dietetic interns will be required to complete a graduate program to obtain a DI verification statement and to be eligible to sit for the registration examination for dietitians.

All applicants not eligible for our non-degree option are required to apply to one of our affiliate graduate program partners-, the University of Alabama’s Master of Science in Human Nutrition program or Georgia State University’s Master of Science with a major in Health Science.
