Tamara Melton, MS, RDN, LD | Program director
Tamara Melton has 15 years of experience as an educator and administrator. She served as a part-time instructor, faculty member, advisor, admissions coordinator, and program director at Georgia State University. Tamara co-founded our parent organization, Diversify Dietetics, Inc, in 2018.
Mia Ramdon, MCN, RDN, LD | virtual assistant
Mia is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area. Her passion lies in helping others improve their relationship with food. She pursued a Master of Clinical Nutrition - Coordinated Program at UTSW, which served as the foundation for her career in nutrition. Her professional journey began as a clinical dietitian, and she was also working towards establishing herself in the private practice. In 2022, Mia took on the virtual assistant role at Diversify Dietetics.
Our Preceptors
Preceptors of the DDIP are members of the Diversify Dietetics Community- a group of food and nutrition professionals dedicated to providing equitable care to all communities. Many of our preceptors also serve as mentors for our Diversify Dietetics Mentor Program, and are committed to supporting BIPOC diverse students and interns.
